This mood board captures the vibrant, sun-soaked essence of Ibiza through natural tones, ocean blues, and flowing wave patterns. It blends retro-inspired typography and illustrations with organic textures, evoking a sense of coastal adventure and laid-back island life.
Where Dreams Begin.
Ibiza is a dream destination for couples, known for its white sandy beaches, breathtaking sunsets, and intimate atmosphere. The island offers a perfect blend of serene beauty, and vibrant charm and romantic feel.
My sketches focused on typography, aiming to present Ibiza in a way that’s both visually engaging and easy to read. I explored a variety of styles to find the right fit, debating between sans serif and serif. In the end, I chose a serif font for its clean, classic look—it aligned perfectly with the vision I had in mind.

In the digital phase, I found it challenging to balance the ocean waves with the typography, as the text was becoming difficult to read. I needed to find a clearer way to highlight the 'B' and the 'Z' while still allowing the letters to blend into the wave forms. This led me to spend more time analyzing the letterforms and exploring how I could refine them to better integrate with the design.
Final Concept
As I progressed toward the final design, adding color helped everything come to life and feel more cohesive. I experimented with the 'B', 'Z', and 'I', playing with the illusion of the letters sliding into the waves. I also aligned the 'A' to flow naturally with the 'Z', creating a visual rhythm. The focal point became the fin-like extension at the bottom of the 'Z', which made the letter stand out and enhanced its readability within the wave forms.

This project challenged me to find the balance between typography and visual storytelling. It pushed me to think more critically about letterforms, composition, and how subtle details can impact readability and flow. Through trial, error, and experimentation, I was able to bring my vision to life and create a design that feels both dynamic and true to the spirit of Ibiza.
